HAWKEYE DOWNS ANNOUNCES NEW DATE FOR SEASON CHAMPIONSHIPS

Hawkeye Downs Officials have announced that the Coca-Cola Season Championships have been re-scheduled for Friday night, September 14.

The event was originally scheduled for Friday, August 24 but a waterlogged track and grounds and continued showers forced officials to cancel the event.

ASA ADDS HORNETS, HOBBY STOCKS TO SEPTEMBER 1 EVENT

The American Speed Association has announced that the Sunline Hornets and
Barron Motor Supply IMCA Hobby Stocks will run in support of the Hawkeye 100
presented by Coors Light and Cassill Motors.

The event,which is promoted by ASA is slated for Saturday, September 1.
