THE TRADITION RETURNS
For the ninth year The Tradition will make a return to the Adams County Speedway, in Corning, Iowa on Saturday September 22, 2007. An event putting NASCAR and IMCA drivers on the same track on the same night for bragging rights. Three classes of cars will be in competition , Pro-Am, Street Stock, I Stocks making up the top class followed by the Hobby Stocks, and Hornets.

The weather looks perfect for the final weekly point night of 2007
The weather looks perfect for the final weekly point night of 2007.  As stated earlier, if two of the Chase for the Championship nights rained out, or if the final night rained out, we would add September 15th as a rain date.  Since we only had one rain out on August 25th, that will make this the final night of weekly points.

Cellular 29 Plus and Lyrix Wireless will celebrate their 15th Anniversary by having special guest Al Unser, Jr. come to the facility for an autograph session. 
Cellular 29 Plus and Lyrix Wireless will celebrate their 15th Anniversary by having special guest Al Unser, Jr. come to the facility for an autograph session.  Unser is a two-time Indy 500 champion and has many other accomplishments to his credit which include being a two-time CART champion as well as a two-time IROC champion.

Tomorrow night will be the King of the Hill night. The weather looks hot and sunny for tomorrow night, so let’s go racing.
Tomorrow night will be the King of the Hill presented by Sunoco/Diamond Oil/Ironman Racing Supply for the Northland Oil pro streets. First round matchups will be Steve Churchill and Todd Owens, Mike Garner and Joe Zadina, Ron Ballinger and A.J. Miller and Jeremy Swanson and Greg Miller. Fans remember to buy your 50/50 tickets to be paired with each of the King of the Hill drivers and the better they do, the more money you win!

The weather looks great for tomorrow night for Coca-Cola kid’s bike races.  Kid’s 12 and under will race down the front stretch for a trophy with all participants receiving a free Coca-Cola.
Thanks to Bill and Betty Chapman the Whelen late model winner tomorrow night will be receiving a $300 bonus, so it will be $1000 to win.
